Once upon a time in Jukola... // Érase una vez en Jukola

In this book, Aleksis Kivi tells us about the adventures of seven brothers who lived on a farm in the province of Häme.

Since they were kids, the brothers already had crazy adventures fleeing from their mother, in the forest, with oxen and even with men from the church. There's nothing more entertaining than reading everything they went through.

Eventually in the story, these men try to improve themselves and meanwhile,  they have to overcome some obstacles and go through various circumstances that teaches several life lessons.

The Seven Brothers is a novel  that is very enjoyable, gives  us with many lessons of several topics, such as how the old Finland was like, for example, among many more.  This book really touched my heart.

En este libro, Aleksis Kivi nos cuenta las aventuras de siete hermanos que vivían en una granja en la provincia de Häme. Desde pequeños los hermanos ya tenian locas aventuras huyendo de su madre, en el bosque, con bueyes e incluso con hombres de la iglesia. No hay nada mas divertido que leer todo por lo que pasaron.

Eventualmente en la historia estos hombres intentan superarse y en el transcurso tienen que vencer ciertos obstaculos y vivir varias circunstancias que dejan en el lector varias lecciones de vida. 

Los siete hermanos es una novela que ademas de ser una lectura muy agradable nos deja muchas enseñanzas de diversos temas, como dejarnos imaginar cómo era la viea Finlandia por ejemplo entre otros temas que por temor a revelar demasiado no se contarán.

 Quizá tu entres tus propias lecciones de vida en este maravilloso clasico finlandés que recomiendo totalmente.
